Together we'll explore the role male and female superheroes have played for American Jews in their attempts - successful and not - to design, create and use powerful personas to explore their complex roles in families, in friendships, and within American society. We will look at secular heroes and observant heroines and find the power in the everyday and extraordinary people who populate our imagination.
